A: We make coffee tables, book cases, planter boxes, raised beds, plant stands, dog food stands, pot holders, coasters, chairs, stools, iPad holders, Art or any special requests.
Q: How long does it take?
A: We respond to inquiries within 1-2 days (please check your inbox / spam folder just in case). An estimated delivery date is provided upon acceptance of the project. Variables that determine how long it takes are the difficulty of the build and the number of projects in process requested prior to yours. To date, projects have been delivered within 2 weeks but may take longer. We thank you for your patience!
Q: Where do you get the wood?
A: We work only with reclaimed wood. From pergola tear downs to fence rebuilds, we search tirelessly for good lumber from our community that still has a second purpose.
Q: How much of the proceeds goes to charity?
A: After we cover the cost of materials, all remaining proceeds get donated to several charities. On average, over 85% of each sale is donated. To support transparency, we share a copy of the donations made upon the completion of payment for your item.
Q: How much will it cost?
A: Each project is a custom build and we will provide you with an email proposal for your request. 20% of the total is due upon order placement and the balance is paid at delivery. You always have the option to increase your donation amount above the quoted price for your project. All additional donations are 100% passed onto the organizations we support.
Q: How do I pay?
A: Venmo, Zelle, Check, or Cash are all accepted.
Q: Who is Doughy?
A: Doughy is the name of the founders' lovable dog! He found the Shah Family in 2018 from the Animal Rescue Foundation in Walnut Creek, CA. He loves the wood shop and treats.
Q: What do you do with your scraps of wood?
A: Since our goal is to be as green as possible, we try to use every piece we can for various projects including collecting our sawdust for home composting ("garden gold"). When we have a batch of scraps or wood that we can't work with, we find it a new home with someone in the community whenever possible.
