Feature Build Q3 2020: Our client gave us a range of dimensions for a sofa side table with 2 special mementos to incorporate: A bench piece from Old California Memorial Stadium and a redwood plank from her grandmother's ranch. We worked hard to transform these mementos into a reclaimed wood side table, a true conversational piece with function. Best of all, it was great to bring a smile to our client's face and her generous donations for our efforts helped support the Alameda County Community Food Bank and Campaign Zero.
Feature Build Q4 2020: While preparing to celebrate the festival of lights (Diwali) at home with their family, our client realized that packing bangles and bracelets in shoe boxes under their bed made it difficult to access them easily. We took on the challenge to build her a pair of wall bracelet boxes, repurposing a bamboo trellis they had removed from their garden. We worked hard to create a solution that was simple and elegant, encouraging our client to enjoy wearing their bracelets more often. Best of all, it was great to bring a smile to our client's face and her generous donation for our efforts helped support Food Gatherers fight against hunger.
Feature Build Q1 2021: Creating a fresh look for the front of their home, our client desired to add a decorative and functional seating area to their front porch. We were fortunate to salvage an iron bench on its last legs. After completely tearing the bench down, we replaced all the wood, created an entirely new back, and repurposed all of the iron and hardware. Our client can now enjoy their yard while conversing with their friends and family on their new porch bench. Best of all, it was great to bring a smile to our client's face and his generous donation for our efforts helped support Gleaners fight against hunger.
